Admissions Process

Applications for the 2023-2024 School Year will open the first week of October 2022.

Our admissions process at Montessori Children's School is thoughtful and thorough. We want our prospective families to understand the Montessori Children’s School difference. Here at MCS, it is important for our future parents to experience that difference first hand with a guided tour of our campus. Parents are eager to understand the Montessori difference and how it compares to traditional schools. We invite you to call the front office to schedule a tour!

Step 1: Apply

Thank you for your interest in our school!

We appreciate you considering Montessori Children’s School for your child(ren). Our application process is online and does not come with an application fee. Once you have submitted an application, you will receive a confirmation email and receive either a phone call or email from our office to set up a tour. If you need special accommodations for virtual tours, please email admin@mcsjax.org to discuss your needs.

Applications for the 2023-2024 School Year will be available starting the first week of October 2022.

Step 2: Tours

We request you call the school directly to schedule a tour! 910-938-3826

Step 3: Visit

An individualized visit for you and your child.

Once you have filled out the application, we will set up a visit for you, your child(ren), and a Lead Director/Directress of your child’s potential classroom. This time will be spent with one of our Lead teachers getting to know your child through conversation and virtual exploration of the Montessori environment (classroom). Our admissions process is very thoughtful to ensure that Montessori Children’s School is the proper fit for your family.

Step 4: Acceptance and Waitlist

Thank you for submitting your application and for visiting Montessori Children’s School! After these steps are complete, your applications will be placed in our database and we will reach out to you as soon as a spot becomes available. Depending on the classroom and availability, there may be spots immediately given to prospective families, or your child(ren) may be put on a wait list.
